Joss Whedon Bio

Joss Whedon  Attended and graduated from Wesleyan University in 1987.  Joss Whedon's "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" (1997) episode "Hush" was nominated for an Emmy Award in 2000 for Outstanding Writing in a Drama Series. "Hush" featured 28 minutes without dialogue, as a group of fairy-tale demons called the Gentlemen arrived in Sunnydale to steal voices, and then hearts (literally).  Son of Tom Whedon  Grandson of John Whedon  Whedon is married and resides in Los Angeles

David Greenwalt

Left his position as head writer on "Angel" (1999/I) after its third season in 2002 to join the new series "Miracles" (2003) as executive producer and head writer. But he remained consulting producer on "Angel" and stayed in touched with the writing staff in season four.

Since he left "Angel" (1999/I) after the third season he doesn't seem to have much luck with the shows he ran afterwards. Both "Miracles" (2003) and "Jake 2.0" (2003) on which he worked as executive producer/head writer, were cancelled in their first seasons.

David Greenwalt and Joss Whedon

Creators

David Greenwalt and Joss Whedon's partner in crime when it comes to creating two of the best television series on TV today. David and Joss worked together throughout three seasons of Buffy, and then David was given more executive control when Joss created a Buffy spin-off, Angel. While Joss still remains in control of both series, his writing and directing focus remains on Buffy while David tries to run things over at Angel. Don't be mistaken though, Joss is still very much in control of the episode plots and what happens with both series. But he is only human. David Greenwalt's credits include the TV series The X-Files and The Commish, as well as the movies, Miracles and Class. Joss Whedon's other credits (and sometimes uncredited credits) include, Roseanne (tv show), Toy Story, Twister, Firefly and Alien Resurrection .
